Hyaku Shiki WIP#1

I've been wanting to do a Hyaku Shiki build for a long time, and now I have all the time to start on it. I've seen a lot of Hyaku Shiki-esq mix builds with Zeta, Delta Plus, and Rezels, but I've never really been impressed by any of them, as most of their builds don't take into consideration design aspects and proportion control and are simply resin conversions (dear god such a cheap way out) or pure kit bashes. So my idea to remedy that is simple: replace all the limbs of the MG Hyaku Shiki with Delta plus limbs, and work my way from there. This build will probably take a while, as I will do a ton of proportion changes, such as extending the waist, fattening up the biceps as well as the skirt armors, and reducing the width of the of the original feet. I will also try to increase surface detail with panel lines and metal option parts, as well as scratch-build surface detail.

Delta plus taller due to its longer legs

So here is the initial mix, and I'm pretty happy with the results. Hyaku Shiki is now taller, slimmer but his chest and shoulders really give out a thin but macho proportion that doesn't overwhelm the eye. I hate Delta Plus' feet, so I'll replace them with Hyaku Shiki feet after modifying them. I still think the skirt armors, especially the front ones are a little small, so I'll enlarge them and lengthen them. I'll also extended the waist by 2-3mm, and bulk up the biceps by 1mm all-round. I tried using Delta Plus' head on this setup, but its so damn small in proportion! Of course, the amount of detail and cascade layers on the limbs heavily outweigh the old design of Hyaku Shiki, so I'll try to blend them in by scribing panel lines and adding pla-plate.
